Old steam locomotive "The President" backs up, young schoolchildren board and sit inside train, and train moves down tracks. Mickey Rooney walks on platform of Smith's Creek Depot and then operates telegraph key inside. Children play on lawn in Greenfield Village. Henry Ford shakes hands with children lined up outside of Scotch Settlement School. The dog "Old Tray" rests in front of a doghouse at the Stephen Foster Memorial house. Passengers [children?] board paddlewheel river steamboat "Suwanee." Suwanee sets underway with people watching from the banks.
