how to use a wrx header with an NA water pump 

In this episode, Aaron welds spacers to the stock wax header to drop the whole exhaust manifold down far enough to clear the NA water pump. You also will need longer exhaust studs if you're doing this. Here we used m10x1.25 bolts and cut the heads off and screwed the new stud into place. This step is unnecessary if you install a wrx waterpump. Aaron doesn't confirm it, but tubular unequal length headers should clear the NA water pump without spacers.
