The South-to-North Water Diversion Project in China is the largest of its kind ever undertaken. The project involves drawing water from southern rivers and supplying it to the dry north. Xuchang in Henan Province, in the middle of the project’s route, is an example of a city that benefits from this project. Luming Lake is one of the highlights in the construction of Xuchang's water system.
