Yesterday, my wife got invited to an advanced screening of Solo (and she was able to bring me as a guest!). TLDR: this movie was awesome. Easily, my favorite Star Wars movie of the new series. It was fun, nostalgic, new, and exhilarating. I highly highly recommend, even if you're not a huge Star Wars fan.

But it's not all perfect. I do have a couple of things that bothered me about the movie, and that's the general influence of Guardians of the Galaxy and the Marvel movie style in general.
