A classic hymn text receives an update with a new melody in this setting of “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.” The reliability and sufficiency of God's grace is conveyed with a bittersweet theme that is supported by counter-tunes and warm four-part harmonic moments. A sensitive piano accompaniment completes the package.
