I should point out that in fact this isn't 'proper' hd since it was still recorded in sd with my easycap. I noticed that videos on my hard drive always looked better than on youtube, so I figured that youtube must be compressing them and reducing the quality. I tried rendering in a different way to 'trick' youtube into thinking that the video is HD. It should give an option to view in HD and let you see in the original quality.
