My first film shot on Super 8mm the original is beautiful kodak, this has gone through umpteen transfers to get it here, plus i smoothed some of the cuts out because i originally i cut it and stuck it together with cement and there were lots of jumps. I used a Supermarket trolley for the long tracking shot. i was working in the restaurant at the time (well not right at that time but you know what i mean a nice guy from LWT bought in some proper boards for the floor which is why the tracking shot was so smooth. everything else i did myself. I was very pleased with it as a beginning. It was a result of an evening class in kentish town NW5 , i then went on to take a media foundation in art and design and then onto a BA in Film at the london college of Printing, so we never know where these things are going to take us. Of course i was very grateful for the chance to shoot this there STUDIO SIX on the south bank and for the loan of the OXO tower uniform (it was smarter than ours!) ha ha! this was beofre Tate modern existed on the south bank 1996 I Think.
