After about 4 Days of searching for the Advanced Laser Torch in the Raid/Supply Store, I was finally able to get my first character to Gear Tier 9!   He is now the highest Power character on my roster.
Do not be afraid to buy supplies with Raid Currency or Gold, you will find it to be much more efficient than farming the materials, especially if you cannot clear 2-5 Cosmic.
