The director and costume designer on the Eddie Murphy classic talk about their work on the film. 

In Coming to America a wealthy African prince flees to America to avoid an arranged marriage and to find a woman who will love him rather than his status. Finding lodgings in Queens and a dead-end job, he discovers that his American dream is only just beginning. 

Coming to America saw Landis and Murphy reunited after Trading Places to create another box-office hit and earn their comedy genius mantles.
