Pamela Robins, 50, set up her spiritual healing, meditation and yoga centre in Agoura Hills, along the coast from Paradise, California, four years ago. The spiritual healer left her career running hospitality businesses shortly after her mother died from breast and bone cancer and she was diagnosed thyroid cancer. She said: 'Opening my 20ft wide teepee saved my life and I believe it could also be the reason why I'm now cancer free.' Vegan Pamela (seen right after her teepee was razed to the ground) is staying with a close friend, who lives north of the fires, while another has set up a GoFundMe page to raise $25,000 (£19,440), to buy a new teepee, interior decorations and practical appliances and clothing for her home.
