Death Toll Rises Along Pacific Ring of Fire

United Nations officials say more than one thousand people have been killed in Wednesday's 7.6 magnitude earthquake in Indonesia. Thousands are still believed buried under collapsed buildings in the coastal city of Padang in West Sumatra Province. Aid workers have been flying into the city to provide supplies. Relief workers have also arrived on the Pacific Islands of Samoa, American Samoa and Tonga, where a tsumani hit Tuesday, one day before the Indonesian earthquake. Close to 200 people are believed to have died in that disaster. VOA's Elizabeth Lee has this report.
