Must have had the baton out in front of the cop because he pulled up besides me to ask what it was. He asked if it was an 'asp' to which I responded that it was a baton. Then he asked what its purpose was. Then he asked about the damage it would cause cars when the baton hits the car. Notice how he was thinking -- didn't seem concerned that the cars would be close enough to hit me, but was more concerned that it would damage the cars. And I'm not sure how a stationary baton on my handle bars can hit cars. It's the other way around -- they hit the baton. I feel safer in Sharonville now.
