This is a compilation clip of my dad and I running some NASCARs around the track, part of Rusty Wallace Experience and Karting. I bought us each 12 lap driving packages for father's day. My mom used my camera and shot the film while we were running, but I shot the last two clips of my dad in the pits.

The first two clips is when I am driving, and the last few are my dad. We both ended up in a #8 Dale Jr. car, but he had the newer paint scheme.

It was fun minus the fact that the spotter did not seem to be paying attention, and had conflicting ideas with what is taught in the driver's meeting. To him, I was moving too fast (damn iRacing, Autocross, HPDE, etc. experience!). In my dad's case, after a few laps he was excellent.

They had to kick one guy off the track because he made an unauthorized pass, and was running outside of the "gates" that you are supposed to run. Apparently he had a 18 lap package, and was supposed to have some dirt track experience. The way he was driving didn't seem like it.
