For more information about the lab, see here: http://tonyjack.org The clips presented here are a draft (pre-publication) edit of an instructional video which describes how to conduct a study which relates neural measures to a wide variety of performance measures. This study is focused on two broad cognitive domains: socio-emotional cognition and non-social reasoning. The neural measures used employ magnetic resonance imaging to assess structure, resting connectivity, and functional activation while engaged in social and scientific reasoning tasks. The performance measures include a variety of problem solving tasks, attention tasks, self-report and peer-report measures. The viewer is taken through a description of the motivation for the study, and then a description of the steps involved in conducting the study.
