On Tuesday, we posted an audio recording of a mystery car's exhaust note and promised a Nintendo 3DS and a copy of F1 2011 to the first commenter to correctly identify the sound. To hear it again, click play above. Sadly, no one figured out that the sound came from a 2012 Infiniti QX56. Most of you did figure out that it came from a large, V-8--powered vehicle, just not this particular one. But we promised to give away a 3DS and a copy of the latest F1 game, so we selected a winner at random from among the respondents—congratulations to Parth P. And check back soon for more exciting Name That Exhaust Note and Name That Shifter giveaways! Like that sound? Download the MP3 and quiz your friends, make your own ringtone, or just lull yourself to sleep with sweet, sweet vehicular ear candy. 2012 Infiniti QX56 http://blog.caranddriver.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/2012-Infiniti-QX56.mp3 (Right-click to Save As...)
