Honesty is the best policy right? Well here is a quick report on how my first time getting out to hammock camp went. Basically it was overall a great experience. I've spent hundreds of nights sleeping in a tent in the backcountry, but never have I tried to hammock camp. After a lot of reading and watching YouTube videos, I took the gear that I already own and decided to try it out. Like I said, it was overall a good experience, but I need to make some adjustments to my gear setup and get a larger tarp if I am going to continue to use the Wildhorn Outfitters Outpost Hammock.
