This isFinal Boss of First Playthrough on Normal mode, if you Defeat him only with katana you will unlock Unlimited Submachinegun, which i'm gonna use on my Hard Mode Perfect Walkthrough, there i also show where you get the katana. 
I only had few Ampoules Left, glad it was enough, Hard Mode walkthrough coming up after Silent Hill 2 is done.
