Father asks what seems like a simple question, "What is freedom." He quotes from Pope Pius XII: Freedom is the capability of autonomously choosing good and putting it into practice. Commenting on this, he emphasizes the need for penance and prayer that we all may escape the slavery of sin and live in true freedom. Ave Maria!
