In recent years, the jungles of Bolivia have become a popular destination for eco-tourists. Instead of lazing on the beach, young people are seeking adventurous experiences. The big tourism companies in the cities are the big winners so far. The indigenous peoples in the new tourist regions on the Amazon River gain little. But now a network is growing to change that. It aims to help people in the villages place advertisements on the Internet so that they can earn money from tourism as well. And the economic benefits are direly needed to help stop the indigenous peoples from moving to cities in droves.
