WHO: Swine Flu Cases Near 1,500

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control is now recommending that schools with confirmed cases of the A-H1N1 swine flu may reopen. The new guidance comes as health officials say the disease is less severe than originally thought. Meanwhile, dozens of Mexican citizens who were quarantined by Chinese authorities over fears they might be infected with the virus have left China on a chartered airplane.
