(read info) Basically, this is a bunch of crap footage that I recovered from two recently dead and dying HDV cameras (a Sony HDR-HC9 with CMOS issues, and a Cannon Vixia HV30 that decided it doesn't want to be a camera anymore). Some other clips are test footy from a new camera, a flash-memory based Cannon Vixia HF-M40. Still getting used to the work flow, and the only way to do that is record stuff and see what happens. The Tree House ramp is owned by me & my homie Josh's mutual friend Ryan... he actually had a bunch of footy but none of it came out (nor did half of the other things we'd done earlier in out session on the ramp). The ramp: there are no blueprints for it, and I forget what the actual specs of it are... I dunno, it's as big as it looks in the video! It was custom built by our local master of ramp design Chris Daniels (co owner of Small Time Skates, Hammond, LA). I've been on a bass head music kick for the past week so I thought it'd be funny to edit this stuff to it. If you have subs on your computer it might even sound pretty cool. Anyway, it's hot as hell down here in the Gulf South (as I know it is in a lot of other places) but the skating must continue. If you puke, it just makes you lighter and more nimble! On an added note: to everyone that's given me shit about cigarettes, I thank you. I've been using an e-cig (no carcinogens or any of the stuff that actually kills you, but it delivers nicotine, which by itself is about as dangerous as caffeine). I haven't had a real cigarette in almost two months, and I'm feeling pretty good. I'm smelling even better.
