This performance of the 1st movement of Scott Watson's AESOP'S FABLES, for narrator and band (Alfred Publishing), features the East Stroudsburg Area School District (South) Wind Ensemble, guest conducted by the composer. The concert was part of the ESASD's 2012 "Composers Series" concert, in which Watson conducted his music with bands at all leves (5th grade, 6th Grade, 7th/8th Grade, and high school), including the premiere of a new work. The new work, a commission, was "When Men and Mountains Meet" (Wingert-Jones Publishing). Aesop's Fables was originally commissioned by the West Chester University (Pennsylvania) Wind Ensemble, Dr. Kenneth Laudermilch, Director.
