The 7th grade was a living hell for me. So was 8th grade...until I dropped out of public school and attended an at home private school until college. Between constantly being beaten up by kids and teased for being jewish, I had a pretty horrible time. However, I did have three things that made life easier. 

1. Great friends like Sahba.
2. My mom and sister.
3. A sense of humor.

I knew, no matter what...someday....my life would be awesome.
Going back to Oak Crest Jr High in Encinitas California was really weird and hilarious. I haven't been a student at this school in 24 years. The teachers I hated have been gone for a long time....some of them have passed away. The teachers I loved are still there and I even got to chat with one or two of them and it felt great.

Whatever is happening to you in Jr High or High School, just know that things do get better. I promise.
