Thunderstorm today, so armed with my Harley Davidson MT350 and my Motorola Defy camera phone, I went in search of lightning. 

I got pretty close and was quite scared! I missed most of the strikes as the camera wasn't pointed in the right place, but got this one just before the rain started hammering down.

You can see the magnetic disturbance nano seconds before the lightning is visible.
