We drove to Venice Beach, and then up the Pacific Coast Highway. Only to find that the PCH was blocked at Gladstones because of the California fires. We made a short pit stop at the beach and the scene was totally surreal... It looked like the sun was setting at 13:30 in the afternoon. There was ash floating around like snowflakes. Apparently the fires was 0% contained at the time Hopefully the situation will improve soon. Stay safe! #CaliforniaFires #CaliforniaForestFire #PacificCoastHighway
