Here's a playthrough in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Genesis. The actual record is done on an emulator, to ensure maximum FPS(and I don't have a way to record from the TV either). I skipped getting emeralds in the game, and I tried to provide the maximum feeling of speed I could get out from this game. This is the third zone, Aquatic Ruins. The best way to get a fast time here is avoid the underwater sections as much as possible. There's a part I went underwater, but there's a nifty trick that won't reduce your speed. Just don't press any direction button, and let the inertia from your previous running drive you along. Enjoy! : )
