For the 3rd year in a row...Vancouver International Airport (YVR) has been awarded the Skytrax Best Airport in North America Award (2012). And YVR has also been named in the top 10 World Airports, also again!. Shot December 5, 2012 in and around Vancouver International Airport... Vancouver is Canada's gateway to Asia with domestic and international direct connections to cities such as to Hong Kong, Sidney and Tokyo. YVR also has direct flights to U.S. cities such as New York, Chicago, Dallas, Palm Springs, Denver, Los Angeles. Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City and San Franciso. YVR has been marketing itself as a strong pacific gateway to Hawaii with direct flights to the Big Island, Oahu, and Maui. It's my favorite big city airport!! My favorite smaller airport? Palm Springs, California!! Bon Voyage!
