On November 4, 2018, at 7:25 pm, an unknown black male entered the 7-Eleven store located at 2034 North Broad Street. A short time later an employee, 20 year-old male, who was working behind the counter observed the suspect attempting to exit the store with unpaid store merchandise. When the employee attempted to stop the suspect to retrieve the items, the suspect began to struggle with him and shoved him into the store's front glass door where the he struck his head. The suspect then fled the store in an unknown direction. The employee suffered a laceration to his forehead as a result of this incident. Suspect Description: Black male, late 30 years-of-age, 5'10", thin build, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and a brown back pack.
