00:59:05 Last summer I made it one of my goals to learn how to solve a Rubik's Cube. I didn't care much about time or anything, it was just one of those things that I've wanted to learn to do since I was a little kid but never got around to it. I started researching online and looking at different methods and condensed things down to just having to memorize 4-5 algorithms. After I figured out a system I could remember, I decided that just solving the cube wasn't enough of a challenge for me and started to work on speed. This is probably one of my best times with a third layer solve. Right now my average solve time is about a minute and 10 seconds. I want to try to get it down to under 30 seconds. I need to find a better way for the first layer solve because that takes the most amount of time. Maybe looking over the cube and trying to memorize square placements before starting to work on the cube. It's a lot harder to do behind a tripod and camera for sure. Since I got a new mini tripod I'm hoping that I'll be able to start to do more videos in the future.
