A particle moves in a straight line so that its displacement, s meters, from a fixed origin after t seconds, is given by
 s(t) = t3 – 2t2 + t, t  0.

a. Determine particle’s initial velocity.
b. When is particle stationary?
c. Once the particle starts to move, how many times will it pass through the origin?
d. is the particle moving away or towards the origin when t = 0.5s?
e. Is the particle speeding or slowing down when t = 0.5 s?
f. Determine the total distance travelled in the first 5 s. #instantaneous_rate_of_change
