Scott Fisher Found Guilty

A Henderson County jury finds a man guilty of involuntary manslaughter. Scott Fisher was convicted Friday morning in the death of 16-year-old Michael Scott Rogers. He died two years ago after a party at Fisher's home where the two were drinking heavily. Testimony showed fisher offered to drive Rogers home that night, but Rogers asked to get out of the car. Deputies later found his body at a hog farm in Etowah. After the verdict was read, the victim's mother forgave Fisher and he then apologized to the family.
