The Chinese Lion Dance is a wonderful spectacle that helps promote good luck and prosperity for the new year. In both Chinese Culture and Buddhism the Lion is a symbol of courage and strength. It is also renowned in nature as the "King of the Jungle" due to its courageous demeanor. Therefore, the Lion Dance has been used in Chinese Culture to rid a business, home, or environment from negative karma, spirits, or luck. It is an amazing well respected performance practiced throughout the globe by Kung Fu Schools, Buddhist Institutions and Chinese Cultural organizations.
