The big storm that was supposed to hit us actually ended up going to the east of us. So we lucked out! I was relieved because I really didn't want to have to dig my way to the barn through big snow drifts and be trapped at home for several days until the roads got cleared. We ended up with about an inch of snow a couple days after the big storm was supposed to hit and it ended up being just the right amount. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those that have been affected by the bad weather the last several days. My husband got me some Muck boots for Christmas and I love them! The only problem I have with them is I can't get them off. Today I got brave and tried wearing them with out my husband here to help pull them off. Luckily Miley managed to pull them off, but it was sure a lot of work!
