This story is set at UCLA, in which rival "families" (akin to gangs) exist in the K-INSA K-pop Club. Featured in this video are "007 Secret Agents" and "OG Family". Part music video, part live dance, Evanesce (originally by Super Junior) was performed at the 2015 K-Factor competition at UCLA. (Plot Synopsis Below!)
!!!PLOT SYNOPSIS!!!
The first 70% of the video is a dream (that Agent 006 has) in which Agent 006 has suddenly gone missing. The first two scenes are to show (a) that Agent 006 has been missing for a week, and (b) that he is not doing well (and was clutching the green bracelet). The video then transitions to a reading of the "ransom" note left behind by the "OG Family", telling 007 that the precious agent is now in their hands (this is to inform the viewer). The song then begins, with Agent 001 visiting the apartment of Agent 006, only to find the door left ajar and the apartment ransacked. She finds evidence of a strange red liquid (later revealed as love potion), which seemed to have been consumed. Then she finds the ransom note, and calls Agent 002. Agent 002 visits the headquarters of their family, where she finds Agent 006's characteristic green bracelet hung on the doorknob, signifying that he was there at one point. She enters and finds a chair overturned, and sees the computer monitor still on, focused on a location within Google Maps, "Kinsa Sushi Restaurant". She makes her way to the locale, and finds a mysterious flower on the ground beside on the tables, one not usually found in that area. Agent 002 then transitions to Agent 003, who searches the region with his high-tech glasses to locate Agent 006's phone (which had not been responding for the past week). He manages to locate it; however, as Agent 004 finds out, the owner is nowhere to be found near the phone. At a loss, the chorus shows the agony of the secret agents, who now have no leads on the status and location of Agent 006. While randomly walking through UCLA's Bruinwalk (where flyers are handed out indiscriminately), Agent 005 serendipitously stumbles upon the ultimate clue: a flyer depicting a performance to be had by Agent 006 and an unknown girl. Realizing the proximity of the performance, Agent 005 rushes to the venue, but only in time to catch the beginning of the performance, screaming his real name ("WASIL NO!!!") while being restrained from assisting her friend.
Agent 006 (who was, by that time, fully under the effect of the love potion), ignores her pleas and continues his infatuated performance with the mysterious girl (who is actually a girl from the OG Family). He is finally seduced, to which the OG Girl walks away (to the sound of Agent 006's rapidly audible heartbeat), picks up a gun, and assassinates Agent 006.
Agent 006 is then suddenly awakened from this dream, which occurs during a class in which he, the OG Girl, and several other 007 members are attending. Before he leaves, OG Girl asks him to 'hang out' that night. Agent 006 then has flashbacks to the dream, in which he was clued in on what might happen if he fell in to her trap.
This series of events in the flashbacks include: OG Girl offering "Asian Rose Drink from Sawtelle", which was actually a spiked drink with a secret OG Family Love Potion. Agent 006 passes out in due time (while OG Girl feigns concern), and she writes the ransom note and leaves. The morning after, Agent 006 awakens in a ransacked apartment, feeling incredibly ill and discombobulated from the side-effects of the love potion. Not noticing his surroundings, somehow stumbles his way to the 007 headquarters. However, he is not able to find a solution for his condition in time, and the potion finally takes hold (symbolized by the sudden costume change). Now, he is stricken and infatuated, prompting him to ask OG Girl to dinner (shown by him texting her), for which he hurriedly searches on the computer and rushes towards. At dinner, he is full-on in love with the girl, handing her a flower, which is accepted in feigned reciprocation by the OG Girl (and left on the table to tumble onto the ground when they leave). Scenes are shown where the two walk together and Agent 006 is still madly in love; at one point, Agent 006 notices a text sent to him by the 007 Family; but OG Girl struck quickly and grab his hand, causing him to suddenly drop the phone and completely forget the text and his family while every bit of his mind was concentrated on her. Eventually, the flashback concluded in the scene in which Agent 006 is laying, dead on the ground.
Realizing this possible sequence of events, Agent 006 reluctantly declines the request, saying that he will hang out with his 007 family instead. He walks up to his family, awaiting him to leave, puts on his high-tech glasses, and walks out with them. OG Girl, foiled in her mission (or...cheated out of a nice boyfriend because of a wayward dream?), stands in the doorway, dejected, as the door closes upon her figure.
