Jack was a seeker and a man of vision, a husband, dad, grandpa, friend, filmmaker, photographer, singer, guitar-player, poet, songwriter, actor, computer wizard, joker, troubleshooter, troublemaker, among many other things, and lover of life. After his death, his wife Yvonne sent Jack's ashes to friends around the world asking them to spread them in beautiful places. Setting Jack Free is a moving account of two friends of Jack driving to Big Sur, California, to scatter their friends ashes. It was at Big Sur that Jack Shea shot part of his film "Who Owns Jack Kerouac".
