I found some post office duffle bags many years ago and I've had them in the closet waiting for something to do with them Now that I have a fan that was originally owned by the post office I knew I could figure out something cool Something cool happened last year in Oklahoma when I almost froze to death in the back of the van The cold air coming through the windows up front was reaching the back easily through the divider made of metal with lots of holes in it So I took a duffel bag to make a large rectangle. The top of the duffle bag and a locking mechanism to keep the mail secure, but once the bag seem was ripped open that provided one edge of the nylon rectangle with grommets So I took a bungee cord and cut it in half threaded it through the grommets so that each end of the nylon rectangle has a stretchy hook, half of a bungee cord This way now I can Stow the duffle bag Fold It Up neatly behind a backpack on the metal partition in the van, and when needed quickly access that large heavy duty nylon rectangle to act as a temperature and visual barrier between the front and back of the van It's even cooler because it has post office stenciling still on it, so it's appropriate for the van. But it's also white so it Blends in very well with anyone looking from the front Will continue to post this series on modifications made to the van.
