Arjun Bir, a 16-year-old student of Mallya Aditi International School, who has directed his efforts to changing the future of India. At the age of 14 he started Students Against Corruption, a movement with over 600 followers. Last year, he gave up a future on the cricket field to start an NGO called India Forward in an attempt to actively involve the youth of the nation in making a change. In this talk, titiled 'Taking India Forward', Arjun Bir talks about how the India Forward trust (www.indiaforward.co.in) was established and how he feels it's time to take India forward. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
