A 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 is optional and makes 350 hp in front-drive models or 400 hp with all-wheel drive and 400 lb-ft. Both engines are paired only to a six-speed automatic transmission. The MKZ Hybrid comes with a 2.0-liter I-4 coupled to an electric motor and a CVT for a combined system output of 188 hp.
