Only $3 turns a Kodak Zi8 into a GoPro camera substitute
 If you have a camera and do not want to buy a Go Pro just for taking some shots around or under water, try making this simple and low cost Go Pro substitute.

My zi8 is a great camera. I have made a camera bag for it , and I have also bought an inexpensive camera bag for it from eBay for a dollar. However, my camera bags do not attach  easily to a tripod or other mounting device for taking video on the water.

 I have plenty of good cameras, I don't want to buy a Go Pro. I have too many cameras already.

 What to do?

 Why not make a clamp to attach my Kodak zi8 in its bag to a tripod mount?

 Now I can take video out on the water in a small boat or kayak and not worry about my Kodak zi8.
