A classified memo detailing Gina Haspel’s role in advocating for torture and later destroying evidence was effectively buried on Monday, a day before Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) announced he would support Gina Haspel as director of the CIA. Warner's decision all but assures Haspel will be confirmed as CIA Director, after a 10-5 Senate Intelligence Committee vote.
