https://amzn.to/2IVjb8E How To BBQ Corn? BBQ corn on the cob is favorite summer side dish during cookouts and picnics across the country. There’s nothing more appetizing than the smoky, natural sweetness of golden grilled corn. There are different ways to cook corn on the bbq. In this video, we will show you two popular ways to bbq corn. The first cooking method is to cook the corn bare on the bbq grill. To do this, remove the husks and the corn silk until each corn cob is clean. Next, prepare your grill. Make sure it’s clean before you preheat it. Fire up your gas grill on medium high or if you’re using a charcoal grill, light up the charcoal using a chimney starter. When the charcoal is whitish grey in color, it’s ready to be transferred to the grill. Make sure that you’re wearing protective grill gloves before handling the hot charcoal and doing the transfer. Then, position the grate which should be oiled before placing the corn. Place the corn on the grate and if you like, you can season it with olive oil, salt & pepper while cooking. Cook on an open grill for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown spots appear on the corn. This has a smokier charred flavor. The second method is to bbq corn with its husk on a charcoal grill. Since you are keeping the husk of the corn, this will keep the corn kernels steamed and tender. Instead of placing the corn on the grate, remove the grate and place the whole corn on the cob with its husk directly on top of the charcoal. Wait until the entire husk turns completely black. This is a sign that the corn is perfectly steamed and juicy on the inside. The key to cooking corn on the bbq whether bare or with its husk is to turn the corn regularly on its sides every two minutes. This is to ensure that the corn is evenly cooked and does not burn. However, flipping the corn can expose your hand to continuous heat. Therefore, to protect your skin from painful burns, you should always put on grill gloves, such as the Grill Heat Aid Gloves. Wearing grill gloves is very important especially if you are cooking the corn directly on the hot coals. The high-performance fiber construction technology of the Grill Heat Aid Gloves will ensure that your hands will be protected in case of any unforeseen accidents.
