My first fire burn...

:) Finally lit my chucks on fire. Wow. That's all I can say. Things I did not anticipate with the first burn. * The flames were much bigger than I thought. I kept the chucks further from my body than usual, trying to get a feel for the fire. * In the dark, I could barely see the chuck. All I could see was the bright fire, so it made the throws rather tricky. So much energy and nervousness of the flames being close made my first spin a short one with a bit of drops. I was just getting a feel..so I'm ok with dropping them. : I was a little nervous about getting burned so the moment I felt fire, I let go a couple of times. I was more slow and methodical on the second spin - which lasted two or three times as long, only dropping it once. :) Too bad I didn't record that one! I am going to spin fire a lot more...it was a pretty awesome experience...something I needed to make my weekend memorable.
