Cardinal Burke at the Day of Reflection for Laity with the theme, "Holy Matrimony: Sacrament of Christ in His Church, (Eph 5:32)" at the Mother of the Redeemer Retreat Center in Bloomington, IN on October 10, 2015, gives the second talk on Fr. John Hardon and his Catechisis on Marriage. He presents the need for good catechesis on marriage as an antidote to modern moral confusion and points out that much of the confusion among Catholics is due to poor catechesis in schools and parishes over the past fifty years.
