Saturday was installation day for us. We drove to Michigan to install  decorative fireplace accents for a customer. The fireplace already had cultured stone on it that looked like barnwood. Overall, the ironwork gave it a fantastic look! 

This video is about fireplace accents wall. It's a vlog style format... we keep you updated on the drive and also show you what the install process looked like for the metal fireplace accents. This particular styling was rustic fireplace accents. It would look great with some forged fireplace tools to! Maybe even a forged fireplace screen (if it burned logs)? 

This stone fireplace needed that extra something special to complete it! The diy rock fireplace was installed by the customers husband. You can get a similar effect with a veneer stone wall. Another option is an airstone faux brick. 

If you're looking to do home improvement, whether it's a faux fireplace or a functioning one, this could be  a do it yourself project if you have some metal working tools. This type of metalwork is gorgeous for interior design and home decorating.
