On February 1st, 2015, as the kickoff to the Cracking Up The Capital Comedy Festival in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, hundreds of Ottawans gathered at TD Place Stadium to attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the greatest number of snowmen built in 1 hour!

On hand was Rick Mercer of CBC's Rick Mercer Report shooting a segment for his popular show, Olympic medalist Elizabeth Manley along with local Member of Parliament Paul Dewar and City of Ottawa Councillors Allan Hubley and Tim Tierney.

You'll have to watch the video to see if we broke the world record!
