MaLeisa and Jesse Todd Hughes pleaded guilty on June 30, 2016 to one felony count each of animal cruelty and fraud. The deal, offered by Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, calls for the couple to spend 23 days in jail and serve 230 hours of volunteer service in addition to a three-year probation.
