Ryu Awai is a top scrolling 2D arcade style indie game project that I have been working on for quite some time (I forgot how long). Written in C, Ryu Awai is planned to be a multi-platform game for Windows, Mac OSX, iPhone and Xbox Live Arcade (I'd like to do more). The game concept evolved out of my interest in Japanese console and arcade games and I wanted to attempt making my own. Ryu Awai's gameplay is designed to have similar aspects to Sega's Panzer Dragoon and Eden's Aegis. It still has quite a bit of fine tuning in the game play to be added before it's finished, but so far it's pretty functional with very few known bugs.
