I didn't include any freeze frames in these videos so pause if you need to read something.

I tried not to get too in depth with some descriptions to move things along a little faster. I'll include a FAQ in each video to provide more info or answer some of what I think might be common questions.

Part 1 FAQ:

Q:How many Weapons are there?
A:There are 15 Trick Weapons: Saw Cleaver, Saw Spear, Threaded Cane, Hunter's Axe, Beast Claw, Burial Blade, Blade of Mercy, Reiterpallasch, Logarius' Wheel, Rifle Spear, Stake Driver, Kirkhammer, Ludwig's Holy Blade, Tonitrus, and Chikage.

Q:Does magic still exist in this game?
A:Sort of. There are only 9 "Magics" in the game now called Hunter Tools. These are equipped in the item slots and consume Bullets when used.

Q:How about Crossbows/Bows?
A:Sadly, no. There are enemies that use them - and even some other unique weapons like Flails(!) - but you won't find them anywhere in the world to use :c

Q:What is Rally Potential?
A:This determines that amount of life you get back per hit during the "Rally" state. Might be more useful for weapons like Logarius' Wheel and Kirkhammer.

Q:Rally State?
A:When you're struck you'll get an opportunity to gain that life back by attacking. It wears off eventually. If you're struck again, that previous damage that you took won't be regained.

Q:Which starting class do you recommend?
A:The Lone Survivor.

Q:What stats should I get?
A:Not like you have many choices, but get more Vitality and Endurance. I wouldn't worry about Strength or Skill at the beginning since the weapons are more affected by upgrades than stats.

Q:What about Arcane?
A:The only items affected by Arcane early on is the Molotov Cocktail and the Flamesprayer. You won't see a huge return on investment with these either.

Q:Is Discovery useful?
A:You'll mainly find consumables from enemies; and the important ones like Blood Vials and Bullets drop almost 100% from those enemies. It's probably more useful in the Chalice Dungeons.

Tip#1: Unlocking shortcuts will make getting around easier should you die or need to return to the Hunter's Dream.
Tip#2: Spend your Blood Echoes before you fight a boss.
Tip#3: If you're caught in a boss fight and need to escape, use the Bold Hunter's Mark when you're at very long distance from the boss.
