Here we are on the banks of the Winooski River in beautiful Montpelier, Vermont, which is the state capital of Vermont. Here, we see the golden dome of the capitol building and then pan down to see WACR 804, which is an excursion train that was chartered by the Mass Bay RRE club. Today, WACR consists of Green Mountain Railroad coaches 1323 and 1312, and GP9R 804 (hence the symbol name WACR 804). 804 was originally built in 1955 as N&W GP9 13 and was rebuilt in 1978, was given a low hood short nose, and was converted to a short hood forward engine, even though the control stand is still on the long hood side of the cab.
