How I edit my drone videos (under 1 min) | BTS

Here is a high-level overview in 1 minute how I assemble and edit my drone videos. 

The example shown was for an indoor drone video feature for one of the largest shopping centers west of Melbourne. 

The entire video was under 60secs, filmed only on a drone and was edited in 2hrs that night for a quick turnaround. 

My main editing workflow steps are:
1- Start with the music!
2- Drop usable footage onto the timeline
3- Begin assembling and arranging to suitable points in the music timeline.
4- Speed ramp up or down (speed or slow) certain clips
5- Add titles/ logos top & tail
6- Add transitions, fades in & outs
7- SLEEP
8- Re-visit edit & make final changes
9- Colour correct
10- Output

What do you do for a living?
I am a commercial drone photographer, filmmaker & creator. This means brands and companies use our services to provide aerial solutions & content. My clients include luxury resorts, tourism departments, NFP, local & national governments and Film & TV production companies.
